J. JIE LI EXHIBITS AT THE HELLÍN MUSEUM (MUSS) 2025
On September 4th, the exhibition “Echoes of Existence: Between Desire, Suffering, and Reflection” by artist J. Jie Li, born in China but who moved to the US at a very young age, opened at the MUSS Holy Week Museum in Hellín, where it can be visited until October 5th. In this series of works, J. Jie Li traces the silent tremors of the human condition: longing, suffering, and the fragile beauty of existence that flickers between the visible and the intuited.
The artist, who had traveled from New York, was also present, along with the local mayor, Manuel Serena, and other members of the local council, Florencio López (curator of the exhibition), and Pablo Cánovas (director of MUSS). A moving moment arose when the artist donated a work to the museum, receiving praise and thanks from the authorities. Attendees also had the opportunity to participate in a live demonstration, where the artist displayed her mastery and passion for this technique.
